The item is a dwójniak and melomel: a honey-fermented beverage in which fruit juice is part of the formulation.

Maliniak is based on flower honey, while raspberry juice replaces at least 30 percent of the water used for fermentation. The named fruit component gives this item a different production basis from the A-M and Koronny expressions.
