White Pony Microbrewery born from the real passion for the craft beer.
We make craft, unpasteurized and unfiltered, bottle conditioned real ales respecting the ancient tradition but with our own innovative view.
Our beers are made only with water, malts, hops and yeast, and sometimes we use to put some sugar or spice. This method permits an evolution of the beer in the bottle and the possibility to age it for a lot of time.
We don’t want to bore you with words like “we use the best ingredients” …it’s just obvious! But we try to spread our emotions through the beers cause for us the beer is art. We don’t want make the same pills or wit biers of the same thousands of breweries, we brew first of all what we like to drink, trying to make something different, inspired by each moment of the life and the emotions that we feel every day. We hope that you’ll find those emotions inside a bottle!
BLEND OF DARKNESS
STYLE: imperial stout (Brewer’s barrel’s choice)
ABV%: 10.8%
Zumbi imperial porter in Tequila (1/10) and in Jack Daniel’s barrels (1/10), as well as Black Sheep in whiskey (2.5/10) and in brandy (2.5/10), and at the end, to blend this all with a new young Russian imperial stout (3/10). The result is a deep black fluid with brown head, with a complex aroma of dark chocolate, espresso, mocha coffee, vanilla, wild dark & red fruits, light smoked oak and caramel, that in the mouth has a full smooth texture that reflects the same notes but with an impressive complexity and a long-roasted aftertaste, On of our crazier beers for sure, extremely complex and full of flavors, not for the faint of heart, and amazing to support the long melancholic winter dark nights.
OF SOLITUDE AND SADNESS
STYLE: dark strong ale / quadruple (Calvados barrel aged)
ABV: 12.5%
“Of Solitude and Sadness” is our brand new quadruple aged for 6 months in Calvados oak barrels from Limousine – France (Golden medal Calvados).
The beer, brown in color with red reflections and a fluffy beige head, packed with lot of special malts, has now achieved a rounded character of oak with notes of yellow fruits, soft vanilla and a touch of honey, that comes in support of his original ensemble of toffee, sweet chocolate, dark fruits (plum and date) and dried fruits, to create an incredible top class complex beer to be enjoyed as “meditation” in front of a fire or paired with dried patisserie.
ANKLES BREAKER
STILE: barley(rye)wine
ABV: 10.5%
Ankles Breaker is our experimental barleywine brewed with rye. We add some special malts just to add complexity and color, and American hops as Apollo, Chinook (or Cluster) and Cascade to add the right fruitiness that marries very well the typical character of the rye. Who doesn’t know the rye, must know that brew with a big amount of this malt needs a hard work and extra work on sparing, so we must use some tricks from the long studies of our brewer. The result is a full-bodied copper fluid with a nice fluffy white head. The sticky mouthfeel is full of complex earthy notes and caramel malty sensations with tropical yellow fruits hints, resinous and citric hops and veins of yellow spring fruits and dried fruits. When you drink a glass of this beer you are satisfied but you’ll ask for another one, and sip by sip you’ll be bent (someone here knows very well this, and it’s why it’s called • Ankles Breaker”) … An important beer that gift lot of emotions and is son of our passion. Brewed occasionally for crazy people!
AUTONOMY LOST
STILE: Imperial IPA
ABV: 9.0%
A.L. is an imperial India pale ale with a Yankee inspiration, but with our usual touch, infect, we use an unusual American hop combo (5hops) in boil, whirlpool e dry hopping. A process that donates strong hoppy notes to this IPA with a bitterness that is around the 125 I BUs. The smell Is a mix of pink grapefruit, white peach and flowers, it shows an explosive character that in the palate Is prickly but persuasive and complex, with fruity, exotic and flowery notes, and
with a long and persistent bitterness, but never too busy. For who accuse us to be able to make only sweet beers, for who makes every time the same bitter IPAs … with the double dose of! BUs, this one will grind your mandibles, but with a vortex of defined flavors that will never cut your mouth with boring bitterness. Hatred will be hated!
BUNGA BUNGA
STYLE: ltalo – American pale ale
ABV: 5.9%
Are hops added during boil? Hell, it’s an old view, here we add hops during the mash!!!
Bunga Bunga Is our pale ale son of the Italian shame, brewed on American Inspiration but with the “sweet-country” attitude. To brew this ale, we use crazy amounts of American hops as Nugget, Chinook, Cent ennial, Simcoe, Columbus and Cascade added in the mashtun, a new experimental technique. The character of this ale is in your face, with the caramel malts that, since the first sip, support the beautiful exotic flavors imparted by the hops; the massive dry hopping enhances the aromatic vein and contribute to an extra-layer of complexity, for this dangerous drinkable beer to be considered as one of our best sellers ever.

DEATH IS LIFE
STILE: Wee heavy I strong scotch ale
ABV: 11 .0%
Death Is Life is a strong dark beer that finds inspiration from the historical scotch ales brewed in the UK but with an
innovative extreme view that brings it in the American way using four times the malts of a scotch ale, and the WP style because we put our original touch. We brew this giant with a particular mix of special malts, American hops for balance and a very clean yeast strain, with a complexity that is also son of the long mash and boil. Pouring this brown/copper fluid with red reflections and a soft head, we can immediately smell the character of the malts that distinguishes this particular style of beer, that in the mouth is soft and medium bodied and releases complex notes of dark fruits, caramel, dried fruits, warm enveloping malty tones and a dry chocolatey hint, ending warm and dry, with a clean balanced aftertaste. Unlike the Belgian strong dark ales.
STAND & FIGHT
STILE: imperial molasses stout
ABV: 11 .0%
Stand & Fight is a pitch black imperial stout brewed with Italian molasses, it’s a sort of point of meeting between the big American imperial stouts and the most complex ancient Russian imperial stouts. This motor-oil viscous sticky fluid is dark as the black plague and releases a stinging and complex aroma. The palate is full, supported by a complex taste of chocolate, dark bitter chocolate, burnt coffee, caramel, dried fruits, rough licorice and a big roastiness with a sense of minerals from the molasses; a roastiness supported till the end by the strong amount of hops used. There is not a lot of space for compromises here, this is one of the most extreme beers ever brewed by the White Pony, of course not dedicated for the shy people. We advise this in-your-face beer at room temperature with dark chocolate cakes, old gorgonzola cheese or barbeque steaks.

TEPPISTENBIER
STYLE: quadruple ale
ABV%: 11.7%
Is just our tribute to the big abbey strong dark ales with our personal touch. This beer is brewed with a Jot of special malts, European noble hops, two kinds of sugars and Belgian yeast. The nose is extremely attractive, but in the mouth is a full soft foamy fluid with an incredible complexity between toffee, sweet chocolate, dark fruits, dried fruits, plum, dates, figs, honey, spices and esters. Abv is not noticeable. You can season this beer in a cellar for a lot of time, this ale can just Jet you smile and be happy!
THE CROW
STYLE: imperial Russian stout
ABV%: 14%
A you will not remain indifferent in front of this black Belgian crow, a beer of an impenetrable black color with the right extreme touch, hard and powerful, rough and aggressive like this predatory. The aroma and the taste are focused to hints of extra dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and spices, with the roasted character background. in a vortex of complexity. We can’t guarantee that you will go to sleep in the full consciousness, we can only advice you to stay away from it if you are afraid by the darkness, drink with care and enjoy!
ZWART BLOED
STYLE: imperial black IPA
ABV%: 8.5%
Black beer with a medium· full body. We use Belgian malts and English dark malts, UK bitterling hop and a beautiful amount of American aromatic hop, with an English yeast strain. Then, not happy, we dry hop for seven days with Amarillo. When you open this bottle, you need to expect an unconventional beer that can satisfy a lot of different tastes, with a big palate from the notes of hops and the light roastiness. refreshing but strong. This is the first and only imperial black IPA in Belgium and one of the so few in the entire globe. Label is by the artist Adrian Borda.
