Devans Modern Breweries Ltd. is an Indian company into the business of brewing & selling premium quality beers in India since 1967.
The company was established in 1961 at Jammu in Jammu & Kashmir, the northernmost state of India. Devans have two breweries, both greenfield, one at Samba(J&K) which was commissioned in 2014 and another in Kotputli (Rajasthan) which was commissioned in 2006 and is one of the biggest breweries in the Country, both the breweries are modern and state of the art. In fact the Rajasthan brewery was set up by Briggs India which was a wholly owned subsidiary of Briggs of Burton Plc. UK., renowned the world over for its expertise in brewing technology.
