Baron d’Arignac is recognised worldwide as a great French wine. Authentic and entrenched in tradition, Baron d’Arignac comes from the two largest vineyards in France: Pays du Gers and Pays d’Oc. Baron d’Arignac Red
Designation: VIN DE PAYS D'OC RED
Grape variety(ies): Blend of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Carignan.
Origin: The vineyards of Vin de Pays d'Oc are located in southern France, mainly in Languedoc-Roussillon. They extend from the south of the Côtes du Rhône up to Carcassonne.
Soil: The Oc area vineyard, the largest in the world, grows in many soils : gravel, schistous and clay-chalky.
Vilification: Part of the blend is prepared with the traditional method (in tanks for one week). The other part is obtained by the heat process. After that it is fined, blended and matured in stainless steel vats.
Color: Ruby red, medium intensity.
Nose: With spicy notes and notes of red fruit and currants.
Palate: Very supple, round and ample wine.
Recommendations: This wine may be served with a large number of dishes such as cold meats, salad, meat and cheese.

Baron d’Arignac Mellow
Designation: MELLOW WHITE WINE - VIN DE PAYS DU GERS
Grape variety(ies): Ugni Blanc, Colombard.
Origin: Vineyards of south-western France, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, at the foot of the Pyrenees.
Soil: Sandy and "boulbène" soils that heat up quickly. Water seeps in fast.
Vilification: Machine harvest of slightly overripe grapes, rapid pressing at a low temperature under carbon dioxide, fermentation at a very low temperature (14 - 16° C) for one week. The wine is fined and stored in closed tanks. This wine is sweetened with concentrated grape juice.
Color: Pale yellow, with golden shades.
Nose: Fine aromatic wine, dried fruit, vineyards peach.
Palate: Mellow wine, ample and richness, fine persistence.
Recommendations: Serve alone or as aperitif, it can be served favourably with desserts.

Baron d’Arignac Dry White
Designation: VIN DE PAYS DU GERS
Grape variety(ies): Ugni Blanc, Colombard.
Origin: Vineyards of south-western France, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, at the foot of the Pyrenees.
Soil: Sandy and "boulbène" soils that heat up quickly. Water seeps in fast.

Color: Very pale yellow, with green light.
Nose: Very aromatic, peach, ripe fruit, white flowers.
Palate: Ample wine, with plenty of volume and richness.
Recommendations: Serve with fish and shellfish, but may also be served by itself as an aperitif.

Baron d’Arignac Rose
Designation: VIN DE PAYS D'OC ROSE
Grape variety(ies): This wine is made with a number of varieties (Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, etc.), which make it complex.
Origin: The vineyards of Vin de Pays d'Oc are located in southern France, mainly in Languedoc-Roussillon. They extend from the south of Côtes du Rhône up to Carcassonne.
Soil: Highly varied : there are clay-chalky, sandy, schistous and gravelly soils.
Vilification: The grapes are harvested when just ripe and gently pressed. The juice is fermented with yeast at a low temperature (15 - 18° C). Blended of the different wine. The wine is then racked, filtered and bottled. It is light rounded with concentrated grape juice.
Colour: Very light rosé, clear and brilliant.
Nose: Scents of red fruit, with spicy and floral notes.
Palate: Very round, rich and pleasing wine, supple, without any bitterness.
Recommendations: This rosé may be served by itself or with a large number of dishes, particularly cold meats, braised ham, salad.
